چکیده
To improve the static performance, dynamic and current balance of a current-source PWM rectifier with multi-modules, comprehensive control method passivity-based is proposed in this paper. Current control, which based on AC voltage sequencing, has advantages being easy to implement not limited by number modules. Mathematical modelling, controller design, simulation verification were conducted successively, results show that low impact high power quality. At same time, module currents are well balanced, even under external disturbance, when using control.

Pulse Width Modulation for Current Source Converters – A Detailed Concept
Abstract – The current source converter represents the dual counter part to the better known and more frequently used voltage source converter. As such due to duality rules many offthe-shelf solutions concerning the VSC can be used in a modified manner to handle the CSC. This work gives a comprehensive overview of CSC PWM methods and shows how they are to be distinguished. Then based on duality...
متن کاملSpeed Control of a Three Phase Alternating Current Induction Motor Using Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation
Sinusoidal pulse width modulation is a popular modulation for most alternating current induction motor. It only requires fewer calculations and is easy to implement. However, the shortcomings of using it are low DC voltage utilization, and poor inverter transmission capability. In recent years, there is an increasing trend and more research concentration of using space vector pulse width modula...

متن کاملAdjustable Speed Drive Control Based on Random Pulse Width Modulation
The Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) power electronics systems often produce objectionable acoustic noise at the PWM switching frequency. For example, in a fan / blower drive, the drive used for the blower should use “spread spectrum PWM” technology (also known as Random PWM) where acoustic noise radiating through the duckwork is a very seriously concerned. This paper shows the theoretical basis fo...
متن کاملA Novel 36-pulse rectifier with low kVA rate to reduce harmonic input current distortion
The increase in the number of pulses in multipulse rectifiers leads to a reduction in harmonic current distortion. But this increase in the number of pulses leads to an increase in kVA, cost, and complexity of the multi-pulse rectifiers. As a result, in industrial applications, 12-pulse rectifiers are mainly used due to their lightweight, simple transformers, and low kVA rate, and low cost. The...
